Always good in here. Lots of history, lots of choice of beer. Fantastic pies and lovely people. Plus it's got a dungeon with a skeleton in.

The meals are good ... reasonable prices ... music on Friday Saturday nights . The bar staff are very friendly and the regulars during the week are too.

Proper pub !! Great selection of real ales, ciders & lagers. Clean & friendly staff. Only cobs available but well filled & only 2.50 . Will be returning.
