Just very average. The name implies whole foods/vegan but it's just a cafe with options for some wholesome choices. Nice interior but sadly inflexible with the menu... my friend wanted the truffle n cheese fries but doesn't like smoked cheese - apparently they couldn't changed smoked cheese topping to another cheese. Was quite costly for very small portions and my smashed avo was lacking seasoning. I'm underwhelmed but liked the setting and some of the menu ideas. Be warned! Food is expensive plus you pay to park outside.....just OK but won't be rushing back.

Brilliant! The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It is one my favourite coffee shops around and I highly recommend to everyone who wants a fully awesome experience. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly

Best dog-friendly caf in our region! I have been going to Good Roots regularly for a couple of years, on my way back from Diglis Park, where I walk my dog once a week. Every visit is a joy for both my dog and myself as the staff are the most friendly people you could wish to find. The caf has a "doggy menu" and members of staff that genuinely love their furry visitors. Today, my dog felt out of sorts and didn't finish her food, so one member of staff offered to put it in a takeaway box ! The caf also has, in my opinion, the best atmosphere and human food and drinks you can find in this area. I Highly recommend this caf, particularly if you want to treat yourself and your furry friend !
