Such a beautiful place. Please remember that this ford is still used by traffic when laying out your picnics and please take your rubbish home with you.

A lovely place for a walk and a picnic, with great views from the top of the hill.

Park here and walk the Beamish woods and old railway line. It's never busy and I find a new little trail to run or walk whenever I visit this area.

This an amazing picnic area beautiful lake with lots of birds surrounded and wild animals we have been many times when good sunny weather

Just a layby and not in great condition

The cobs are not the usual standard l suppose it is cost cutting, the contents where ok, just the cheap cobs let it down.

Stunning local woodland, perfect for walks, spending time in the fresh air. Bring your dogs, kids, family. Great food truck at weekends too.

Not sure how to approach the matter, but overall, nice views, good picnic area, or for dog walks.

It was breathtaking and Robert Fuller Gallery was extraordinary .
