        Right on the riverside tucked by the bridge. Benches and picnic tables. Bandstand. Information boards. Adjacent to the large, free car park. The lovely caf nearby is strongly recommended too and it does sell duck bread and duck seed. Bags of duck bread 20p, but though the ducks like bread, bread does not like ducks and is not the recommended feed. Bags of bird seed are 50p. Lots of historic blue plaques abound and make interesting reading.

        Super little picnic area, plenty of benches & seating. Don't forget to take some food for the birds ( although the nearby toy shop sells duck food too )
