It's a very quiet and compact pub its ashame that it's only cash in this day and age where most establishments take cards or even NFC contactless payments

Lovely setting, a characterful pub, a few friendly locals, very helpful staff

Had carvery which was good. I was dining alone but seated near a large party of 20 + kids who were quite disruptive. It was very busy.
