Good beer.. A bearded lizard. Currently being refurbished - not sure when it re-opens. But hope they keep the cask ales on.

A gorgeous pub. Both for locals and otherwise! So friendly and welcoming and the beer garden is just outstanding. The owner is second to none!

Great burgers! Especially enjoyed the blue cheese burger. Also cracking specials on the weekends. Comfortable, inviting environment and lovely accommodating staff.

I went for an interview at this venue for match steward(HTFC) based at the John Smiths stadium in Huddersfield. Nice venue/cafe!

clean pub great DJ friendly reasonably priced Only downside it Atracs the wrong crowd late night. People been beaten up men and women.

Apart from the lack of a nice real we had a great time. Staff were brilliant. We were there to watch a band and everyone had a fantastic night.

I have been frequenting the Craven Heiffer for almost 20 years. It's a locals local. Have some fantastic evenings of general banter.

Good selection of beers on draught including Veltins, which best suits us. Not much atmosphere, but we'll try it again on another visit to Slaithwaite.
