One of my favorite pubs in Yorkshire. A coop with great beer and wonderful ambiance, but it's the patrons and staff that make the place what it is. A gem.

Found this by accident on a recent visit to the town. An absolute hidden gem of a place. Dark, cosy, warm, great music, and stuffed full of character. Highly recommended. ... more

01/05/23: amazing food. Really enjoyed it. Great service. I had the steak & kidney pie, wedges, peas, but had to get extra gravy! Great craft ale selection! Dog friendly.

The girl who served me was rude and argumentative. Apparently its cash only however this was not mentioned as we entered.
