01/05/23: back again, still a good choice of craft ale and dog friendly. [photo update] 12/08/22: Hebden Bridge Ale Trail: The Albert pub, The Famous Albert, formerly The Albert Hotel. A Victorian style pub throughout, decorative adornishments on the walls, unusual light fittings and a smattering of musical instruments amidst two quirky rooms, with a small benched seating area outside. Set on a plot of triangular land, this pub offers a few craft ales and an extensive gin list.

Served quickly, bar staff friendly but it was quiet to say it was Saturday afternoon. It's also much more expensive than other locals which may reflect how much busier the other pubs are. Last year we watched the national here but this year they didn't show it, which could be another reason.
