A gem of a traditional pub. Like walking back into the 1960's. Excellent beers warm and friendly atmosphere. Priceless.

Lovely landlady, nice pint of sam smiths, freezing cold day, kept fetching us a refreshed hotwater bottle every half hour.

Good friendly welcoming hostalry give it a try when you come by train to the racecourse or football keep a local pub open NOT MANY LEFT

Everytime there's supposed to be a karaoke there hasn't been but the place is fantastic warm friendly safe and patrons

3 times I've paid money to go into this venue for a cocktail, each time for the bar staff to not be serving cocktails. Not a good look for a cocktail bar.

Homely pub by the river. Friendly staff. Roaring fire for the cold nights, beer garden for the summer days. Good selection of drinks, would be better if they did food.
