I'm a regular there for a pork pie which is part of my staple diet during the week.

The staff make the venue. Cannot be faulted. Worth the visit every time.

Being going in there since 1980 when the steak pies were 72pence they are still as good today as they were then.

Absolutely delicious meat and potato pies and gorgeous sausage rolls. Highly recommended.

Mel's cakes are delicious and superbly crafted. This is always my first choice when I need something to celebrate a special occasion and I've never been disappointed.

Highly recommend the American club sandwich. Had one this morning and it was divine AND at a bargain price. Top quality from top people!!

Sadly this business has now closed. Sad to see it go but looking forward to the owners new venture.
