Excellent location beautiful surroundings a river runs through past the Cottage. Decor super on trend and There's a new bring the outside in extension. Pure luxury set in the bottom of the mountains. Pet friendly Everything you need is right here. Owners cant do enough with Welsh cakes fresh flowers, fresh eggs, butter. 100% can recommend.

This is a beautiful little spot. A river runs past the cottage, its so peaceful. Great star gazing around the local vicinity, or from the garden. You can just sit and watch the river, or go out and explore, and walk to your hearts content through beautiful scenic hills, valleys, by rivers and views. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 small singles. There is a super king size bed in main double, fantastic! 2 bathrooms, a lovely walk in Shower downstairs. Everything you could want is provided in kitchen, plus washing machine and dryer in utility. Small conservatory, has small table at which to sit n watch the birds, or sit in garden n watch the river, with ducks floating on by. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, as was the Brecon beacon cottages, who we booked it through. Second visit here, and can't wait to return. Idilic. Thank you.

Beautiful surroundings and it's nice to relax by the river. The house itself is a good standard. The beds are comfy, although the two smaller rooms are tiny; barely big enough for a single bed and a wardrobe. Great view of the river from the two larger front bedrooms. The proximity to the river is perfect if you either do or don't like the sound. It cannot be heard with the windows shut, yet provides a relaxing sound with them open. The area by the river is very private, but we did see some sheep in the mornings and there was dung out there, so maybe be careful with young children playing. Also be aware that the bank is steep/sheer a couple of feet high, except for one point where you can get to it down some rocky steps.

Excellent service and help from Brecon Beacon holidays We stayed at Parc House,Ystradgynlais.The house was wonderfully presented and in an amazing riverside setting.Everything you needed was provided.Lovely linen and beautifully decorated with amazing views and wildlife along the river.Our dog enjoyed spashing and playing in the river every day.We would definately recommend Parc house,and intend to return soon.
