Upon arrival we were told we were too early, very rudely. There were no towels provided, apparently because of covid. The owner said he had sent an email to my 86 year old father when he booked last year, (during covid) that he would need to bring towels. I was very angry about this and told the owner who eventually produced some towels for us. He was very apologetic eventually! The internet is free but you have to constantly log in as it appears to be on a timer. The cooker hob has dials with no markings on them so it's impossible to work out whether they are on or not. One night it took us more than half an hour to boil some water for potatoes! The sofas are extremely uncomfortable and there are no cushions provided. The shower rooms are tiny, only suitable for very slim people or kids. The fridge and freezer were turned off when we arrived so our frozen food was ruined. The front and back are a mess, weeds growing between the flag stones. Don't expect any welcome pack, you will have to provide everything yourself, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, everything! All in all, a complete waste of money, DON'T BOOK!!!

Quiet, Tranquil, Peaceful. A lovely place to stay. Owners are most knowledgeable about local places of interest to visit. Would definitely book again.
