Rooms: Each cottage is warm and comfortable, good quality beds and well equipped. Choice of ground floor cottage or first floor Safety: Own key to property, car parking is on site....private property . Well lit at night. Walkability: Lovely dog walk on site. Perfect for morning tiddles and on private land so feels secure and able to nip in just your lounge wear Food & drinks: The welcome hampers are lovely and well worth the extra on booking. Great for breakfast or evening nibbles

We have been staying at the Old Mill Cottages frequently since 2018. We often travel to see family in the local area and have stayed in 3 of the 4 cottages they have to offer. Each of them have amazed us! Weve had breaks here as a couple, and now we often travel up with our parents and our toddler staying in the Long Barn - facilities are outstanding, they have everything you could possibly need. Kids plates and cups, cafetire, DVDs and board games as standard. Liz and her family have made us feel so welcome every time weve visited, nothing is ever too much and we really do appreciate their willingness to please their guests. I highly recommend the old mill cottages and will continue to return a couple of times a year! Rooms: Really comfy beds, spacious bedrooms with wardrobes, hair dryers etc.
