We just returned from an amazing Easter weekend in this beautiful spacious cottage overlooking Cardigan Island in the village of Gwbert. From the first contact we had with the owners we were made to feel welcome and knew that we would be having a good time. The house itself, once you have navigated the local roads, is amazing. There is so much space with all four bedrooms and something exciting in each of them - interior design is clearly something that the owners excel in! There are two bathrooms, each beautifully equipped, a well fitted kitchen, quirky garden room and a fantastic open plan dining room and sitting room with views across the bay and out to the island. Outside we were blessed with a bank of bluebells in the gardens with sculpted hedges separating the different parts of the garden making it perfect for an Easter egg hunt, as well as Joe Wicks exercise in the evening sun. You can probably tell that we have had an amazing time before I mention the beaches, walks and kayaking in the area or the dolphins we watched swimming in the sea. I thoroughly recommend a stay in this cottage.
