        Been a patient for many years but will NOT return!! They have new staff and they are rude! Was left feeling extremely humiliated and left with an upset child-with the test incomplete, they are refusing a refund. Only gave one star as it requires a minimum to post review otherwise it would be zero.

        I have been going to Jane's since she opened in Wrexham.She is an excellent optician,her examinations are thorough and performed with efficiency. All her staff are helpful and respectful.During this lockdown,by visiting Alec(optometrist)he discovered I had a retinal detachment and he and Jane got me admitted to Abergele eye hospital the next day for surgery. I cannot thank them enough.There speed saved my eyesightA big thank yiu.

        The standard of care at Jane Smellie Opticians is way above anything I've experienced elsewhere with an impressive attention to detail and unhurried care and time given at every appointment. Patients are made to feel like individuals rather than just numbers in a computer. And there are treatments available here that you can't get elsewhere, like Ortho-K for sight correction with no daytime glasses or contact lenses and no surgery. Highly recommended.
