This unit is a waste of time. They do not help people at all. Just diagnose, medicate and discharge you like I have been today as "there is nothing more" they can do for me. I feel hopeless. I have sucidial thoughts and self harm + other mental health issues but they don't care. Everything I've asked for to help has been met with a "no". Do I have to be dead to be helped? Be too late then. I got the feeling I'm taking up space and they want people off the books. Most of my appointments I had a manger in too. Why? I don't know. Staff are uninterested & duty team well they are ridiculous to say the least. I've seen secondary mental health and primary mental health. It was primary who said I need more support from secondary and they discharge me! Both appalling services. Roll on a few months and I'm told I need support worker. Can I get one no because I have to pay and can't afford one. I had a cpn who was OK but he left suddenly (I wonder why ) then I was given another one. Oh my days she is full of ums, awws and don't knows. She that bad I refused to answer her call. Not heard anything since no letters. Nothing. Is she hoping I'm dead? I've been in crisis the last few days where u should have sort help but knowing what ty derbyn are like I didn't bother. I have major depressive disorder, eupd, adpd, serve anxiety etc. Honestly they could not care less if you "toddled" off.

Obtaining a prescription from here every month is a chore and generates huge amounts of anxiety. The phone is poorly attended to often ringing out with no option to leave a message before the line cuts you off abruptly. Once you do manage to speak to someone its hit and miss whether youll get your prescription or call back without chasing it. A kinder solution for a service such as this would be to allow patients to request their repeats and follow up appointments via email or maybe just get better at taking your calls and following through with things. As a mental health service its cruel to force vulnerable people to hammer the phone in order to just speak to someone and then to not feel confident that their request will be for-filled. Fix your switchboard as the menu options are out of date. Transfer Dr Singh patients to another doctor because he has been uncontactable for almost 2 years now. Take note of your Google rating and listen to patients experiencing distress by using these crucial services. Maybe hire a call answering service.

This place is a joke. The care coordinator called nicky ( there only care coordinator) position needs to be reviewed she has zero compassion and talks to you like gum underneath her stilettos. She makes people suffering with mental illness worse! My brother in law suffered becouse of her. When complaints are made the manager protects her and passes it off your literally talking to the wall. How on earth do these people get away with this, she should NOT be working with vulnerable people or this place operating with these people at the wheel. She is simply useless at her job and from our experience not a good human being. My rant over. But wrexham is a small town and people are suffering now more than ever and with a women like that coordinating her 'care' then god help us. And dr klenka .... wow. Playing polatics with vulnerable people.
