        Friendly staff in a busy location. I enjoyed my food (Jacket potato with cheese and beans) and drink (cider) on Saturday 18/03/23... Had been first visit in 12 years but still great food and this chippy rates 5/5 from Food Standards Agency.

        The food is very nice with decent portions, but the opening hours are chaotic. Went to buy chips more than hour before they were due to close, only to find the shutters were down. This has happened more than once. It seems that the staff decide to close whenever they feel like it

        Terrible. Anemic, soggy, greasy chips and over done fish. Hadn't eaten here for a while and it's going to be a long time before I'll eat there again. Very disappointed
