The Old Carpenter Arms is a great family house where you will be kindly welcomed by Robert and Anna and treated to a tasty breakfast with some of the fresh veggies they grow in their pretty garden. The hosts are very friendly, the house and facilities are fantastic, and the location close to the coast/Cardiff airport/other interesting locations in South Wales - perfect. We visited for 3 nights with our 1.5 year-old daughter who kept trying to make a mess and was generally difficult, but Robert and Anna were very understanding and supportive. We loved our stay and would love to return.
