Boots in the town of Whitland have no excuses! Never ever do they have any items one may want or medicines in stock, staff are unapologetic and rude! The worst boots in Wales I should imagine, a real let down for the poor people of Whitland bring back the privately owned pharmacies who really care about our health! Theres only so long one can put up with a bad service before it overspills and tempers are raised .. fed up and Im not alone. This is an honest review that I hope gets published, sincerely Elaine.

Always polite, helpful, the staff go out of their way to be friendly and answer any questions. I have to use the pharmacy frequently and they always are very kind, it does make a difference when you are dealing with health issues. They have a wide range of stock, especially considering it is a very small store, as well as a great deal of knowledge about the products. Probably the best Boots Ive been in.

Made a 40 mile round trip to get my flu jab as apparently they were the only place that could do it before Christmas. Arrived on time but was kept waiting as the staff were gossiping out the back instead of attending to any customers. Finally one came out to tell me that I'd have to speak to the manager because there was a problem. Manager told me she had rung me to tell me my appointment was cancelled as there was nobody available to actually administer the jab. She had rung me - 5 minutes previously according to my phone, so literally 6 minutes before my appointment was due. She would have known from my details that I lived some way away and would therefore have required much more notice than that. They also must have known first thing in the morning that there was no nobody available, so why leave it so late to ring people? Best avoid this place if you want an appointment, she didn't seem at all bothered that she'd caused me such inconvenience. A shame, the service in other branches of Boots is always so good.
