I had been going to this hairdressers for 8 months. I had always remained polite and civil even when a hairdresser left me with 'tiger stripes' instead of the colour I'd asked for (the words of one of her own colleagues). They promised to correct it but it still doesn't look right, months later after multiple colours. They were repeatedly rude and offhand, I usually felt really uncomfortable. They were aware that due to physical health issues I struggle to do my own hair, so I attended the salon twice a week for 8 months for a wash and blow dry, always tipping and being appreciative. I would get my hair coloured and cut every couple of months, and never made a fuss when it was often just a rush job because they hadn't allocated enough time for my thick hair. I booked my appointments at least a month ahead of time and yet when i had seen them in passing from across the road, as well as having my hair done a few days previously, I was not told that there was any problem with my appointment. Just before I left to attend my appointment, after I'd spent most of the previous night in hospital, yet still not wanted to let them down, I received a call saying my appointment was cancelled because they 'had foils to do'. The woman was very defensive as apparently she had tried calling, yet I had no messages or missed calls. My appointment had been booked weeks ahead but she didn't even bother to try to fit me in elsewhere. I have never been spoken to so rudely and disrespectfully but it seems to be seen as acceptable by this salon, who think that because they are the only hairdressers in this town they can treat people like dirt even after 8 months of custom. They are a disgrace and I have cancelled all further appointments with them, not that they seemed bothered. If you want to be treated like dirt, and waste your money in the process, this could be the place for you. Good luck! Services: Hairstyling, Hair coloring
