        Useful service station. Really handy place to stop. Cheerful staff. Unfortunately loo seems to be out of use more often than not, and is not open as advertised. Hours on the door 5am to 10pm but loo not available after 9.30 if open at all, which it wasn't this morning at 6.30. Diesel expensive compared to other places in mid Wales, 16p more than our local garage near Aberystwyth for a start.

        Why advertise 24/7 service if your fuel facilities are shut 24/7? Thank god for apple green garage or Id have had no fuel. Next time Ill not bypass Newtown on my way to work in case this station cant be relied upon.

        I left work early to rush to send my yodel parcel and to get my food for tea, got to tuffins at 9:45.the lad was mopping and had locked up the shop. I kept knocking on the door until he EVENTUALLY looked up, only to tell me were closed to which I said back to him its only 9:45??!?!!!.followed by him just turning away and ignoring me. SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME NOW. So if a shop says they are open 24 hours AS THIS ONE DOES - they are actually only open until 10pm.and will lock their doors 20 minutes early. APPALLING.
