Cryngae Cottages

We have stayed here twice in 2 years for extended periods (weeks at a time). We really love Apple Shack where we stayed last year. Couldn't have the whole 4 weeks there this time so we also stayed in Cinnamon cottage for the first 2 weeks. Both cottages are finished and equipped to a high standard. The heating is on a timer so the (very efficient) log burners are a godsend. Prefer them anyway. Apple Shack is so well insulated we had to open windows late at night, heating off & only burnt 5 logs! The views are lovely. Separate laundry room with 2 washers & dryers. Cryngae is on the edge of 2 villages in rural Carmarthenshire. It is very quiet and peaceful. There are lots of walks nearby. The beautiful coastline is within a half hour drive. A couple of small supermarkets about 4 miles away. Carmarthen is 20 minutes away. The owners are friendly and helpful. We miss both the dogs who were very welcome visitors last year but, sadly, both passed away. One of the cats came in for a warm, no problem at all. Very highly recommended.

Great little cottages,living room,has log burner,which yu can collect the logs yourself,from the yard. They also have laundry room, which yu can use. Window looks out to roaming fields,patio is small,but ideal.Kitchen has everything yu need. Bathroom is small,with a shower over bath .Would be better if there was a handrail to grip into.
