In response to the review below from Mr hood: He was advised on arrival that the boiler had broken down that day. Friday. Against all odds we managed to get someone out on the Saturday morning to repair it. Unfortunately a part was required, ordered immediately but due to being a bank holiday weekend could not be delivered until yesterday. Wednesday. Again I explained this to Mr hood's party. The caravan on the next pitch told us he was using electric prompting me to check the cctv which showed him un hooking his cable on the Sunday morning. I asked if he would like to come and view it but he responded saying 'what electric' I even offered use of the full sized shower in my RV if needed but they said it was fine. I had to chase daily to be paid and only on the day before departure was a discount requested. I explained that as I was not the owner I was not authorised to offer a discount. The other van in their party blocked the same toilet twice and complained about a broken toilet flush handle. Again both these things were attended to immediately upon being notified. Thank you. It's a shame to read about the below glowing reviews from others about the lovely owners. Unfortunately, the site is now run by a 'site manager' who has ruined the experience for us. He was rude and accusative, stating that he has CCTV of us using electricity, which we had not paid for, which is completely untrue. When asked to view the CCTV, he refused because it doesn't exist. There was no hot water for showers and when asked about a discount for this, the site manager seemed to think "timing isn't it, bank holiday, it's not my problem" is a reasonable excuse. I could not discourage anyone more from coming to this campsite.

Me and my partner stayed here with our labrador for 3 nights over bank holiday weekend. The site is in a great location - close to Pembroke, Milford haven etc. We enjoyed our trip exploring wales, however, the trip was slightly ruined by our experience at this site. There were no womens toilet facilities for 2 full days (as one toilet was broken and didnt flush and the other toilet was completely blocked). There were also no shower facilities as we were told on arrival that they were broken but would be fixed the following day, we went the following evening and they still werent fixed and this wasnt communicated either which was a little frustrating. Ive been camping my whole life and understand that things do break and unfortunately these things do happen, however the site managers attitude wasnt great - he said its just bad timing isnt it, these things happen which I understand but a simple apology would have sufficed. We expressed our disappointment that we were still expected to pay full price as we had not had any of the services we had paid for (showers and toilet facilities were advertised) and he told us that its not his problem. The toilet facilities were filthy and clearly not maintained, despite the site manager stating he maintains and cleans them, he was totally unaware of the issues - he would be aware if he did maintain them as these issues were ongoing throughout the whole stay. We had booked a non electric pitch as we dont have or require electric hook up, the site manager approached us on our pitch the following morning and said that he wasnt going to ask us for more money but hed got us on cctv unplugging our electric so dont think youve got one up on me (we hadnt got any electric hook up, if we had I would be more than happy to pay, and there was certainly no cctv) Its a shame - as it sounds like the owners were lovely but this site is now managed by the site manager so we had no interaction with the site owners and only dealt with the site manager. We were not made to feel welcome. The only good thing about this campsite is the location and I definitely wouldnt recommend it to anybody.
