Only stopped for a drink, very busy and parking wasnt easy but it had a lovely atmosphere. Id definitely go back. Outside seating too .

Went on a Saturday (15th April) afternoon around 2:30pm. Garden busy, pub not so much. Top tip -can't buy a pint on a card as 5 min spend. Qued for 20mins to order food, only 5 people infront of me but the single barman was serving people sitting at the bar as they wanted drinks whilst the que grew behind. Food took 40mins to arrive and then no knives and forks came out before we finished. BUT having said all that the food, which had cooled quite a bit while we waited in vain for cutlery was amazing. Good juicy burgers with some of the nicest chips we've had. Kitchen was working miracles while front of house was a car crash, hence 3 stars as it spoiled the visit. We'll try again another day, hopefully service will have improved so we can update the rating.
