Y Fan Bed & Breakfast

Stunning! Wonderful B&B set in peaceful surroundings. A beautifully restored mansion, was great hearing about it from both Christine and Adrian. Exceptionally comfortable rooms, a very warm welcome and an off the scale Welsh breakfast with local high quality produce! Highly recommended! Looking forward to returning to chat more with the very warm and welcoming dedicated owners, Christine and Adrian.

Rooms: Warm, spacious and comfortable. The room and en-suite have been renovated to a high standard. There are 5 rooms to choose from, each with their own uniqueness and character. Walkability: 20 minute walk to Caerphilly Castle and the town centre. 15 minute walk to Caerphilly train station. Lots of countryside around the venue to hike, including the trails around Caerphilly mountain. Noteworthy details: The building, a manor building, dates back to the 16th century, and is being renovated to a high standard by the current owners.

Last weekend during our holiday in Wales we stayed at Y fan b&b for 2 days and 2 nights with Adrian and Christine. What a beautifully restored Tudor mansion this is. The decoration of the house was really stunningly beautiful, but also very cozy. The room (we stayed at the Owain Glyndwr) is also very stylish, super clean and fully equipped. But as beautiful as this accommodation is. ..Adrian and Christine really make the stay special.... as we would say in the Netherlands "a stay with a golden edge"!! What a sweet, nice, caring people these are. We felt so welcome. You can see the passion in these people. They are real super hosts. They made us feel like "you come as a guest, but you leave as a friend". Big chapeau for this accommodation and their hosts. Thank you Adrian and Christine... we hope to see you again.
