Phil Pugh installed a replacement Solar PV Inverter at my mother's house in early 2020. The inverter and installation had consistent problems, which after a number of visits appeared to calm down. However, the power out put from the inverter remain at lower than50% of the original capacity of the Solar PV system. All attempts to contact Phil Pugh failed. No response to my phone calls, messages etc, Having no alternative we contacted another Solar PV System installer from Aberystwyth who visited on 20 May. Their report made it clear that the inverter installed by Phil Pugh was not suitable for the solar panel configuration, and hence had switched into a protective overload safety mode since it was installed in 2020 due to excess high voltage. Additionally, the mains Consumer Unit was not correct and a separate RCD circuit should have been fitted - something again that Phil Pugh had simply ignored. Please be aware of the above points when considering using Phil Pugh. Needless to say, he will never be allowed to enter the property again.

Great service at really short notice. They fixed the problem the same day and turned up when they said they would and kept me up to date with a time. Will definitely use them again.
