A hopeful start when we reserved a table via email. Tony was quick to respond and confirm our booking. We were really looking forward to enjoying our last evening in the area, eating somewhere local. We were a few minutes late (the restaurant is quite hidden but the signs nearby were helpful) however, we felt this didn't justify the unfriendly welcome we received. Ordering drinks and food was quick. The starter came out promptly. We had the Pork Belly Slices and Garlic King Prawns. Sadly, there was far too much fat (even for pork belly), which was disappointing but the sauce that accompanied it was nice. The prawns were good. Unfortunately, nobody checked on us during our starter nor were we asked if we wanted anymore drinks. The mains came out shortly afterwards, portion sizes were good. We went for the Pollo alla Panna and Linguine Salmone. Both dishes were very tasty. Whilst it's expected that the plates come out warm, these were exceptionally hot, with no warning given. Again, during our mains, no one asked how the food was or if we wanted anymore drinks. Even asking for a spoon for the linguine felt uncomfortable due to the lack of warmth from those serving us. Overall, really disappointing, as the chef provided two delicious mains but the experience was completely let down by the service.
