There's some nice walking round if you like your outdoorsy stuff. I went around April. The snow/ice has only just really fully cleared, could possibly try March. The paths can be very muddy around this time of year so it might be better waiting a few months if you want a comfy dry walk in the sun. It is a bit of a hike to get up to the waterfall. I've seen kids up round there but you also need to be a little careful as there are very steep drops in some places. The rocks will be slippy. Seeing the waterfall up close is nice though, particularly when you're boiling hot from hiking around.

Nature at its best. If you enjoy walking in the forests and feel great and rewarded for being one with nature, this trail is for you. Not so much difficult, though the final climb to the fall is made of a bit hard to ascend rocky steps. Loved it. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, they'll get so dirty!!!! Haha

Easy to follow the trail. Can get up in less than 30 min. Not very steep. Really good views. Gets muddy on the top. Picnic area: In the middle there is a picnic table with a view
