        Superb atmosphere, reasonable prices lovely welcome.

        Have had two cracking days / nights here for the rugby...The San Miguel on tap is awesome, had about fifteen pints of the stuff! Also had bread, and home made corned beef stew (cooked on the log fire) for half time which was lush but I think it gave me a bit of a hangover the next day. Will definitely come again but only have the one bowl of stew!

        Awesome welcoming pub, locals really friendly too Usually have live acts/singers at weekends (generally start at 6pm Saturdays and 8pm Sundays) Beer is always 1st class, as is the friendly atmosphere. A proper 'pub' that has decent entertainment, decent locals and decent beer! No food served and rightly so, because its a real 'boozer' namely, a place to ho for a pint and enjoy the atmosphere whilst you drink it! 10/10
