Beautiful and peaceful. Need to pay attention when you make your way there, but a nice spot when you arrive. Don't expect a theme park experience, it is just a car park and the ruins, and it is all the better for that.

I only rate this 3 out of 5 because it could be soo much more this place, the history there is soo rich but its been held back I feel by NRW over zealous parking restrictions and now holding back mine access for thoes in the know and legal and for what?? I fear it will be forgotten about and lost forever to be made into just another generic woodland or worse... Shame on NRW only concerned about
