They have sports on decent tvs, so that's cool. They also have things other than just carling and fosters on tap; loves me Heineken. There's no pool table? Every bar should have one. They had a 4 star food rating when I visited, that's good. Another bar nearby has one... out of five. I don't know if its just the days I visited but there was an odd smell in there, kind of like a combination of lemon and sweat. That's fixable just by leaving a fan running overnight or an ozone generator. The food... I'm not sure whether to criticise it or not because the prices pretty much everywhere outside of a takeaway or actual restraunt seem to be rather expensive. I got the bbq rack of ribs and chicken, which was about 16 I think, and the most expensive thing on the menu. The actual rack of ribs was comically tiny. It was about 10cm long and 7 wide. The rest of the plate was mainly just chips and peas. Very expensive chips and peas. My brother got curry and most of it was rice and a tiny naan. But I've seen similar prices in other places for just a burger and couple of chips. I guess if you're really hungry and want to sit in.... They should probably remove the more complex/expensive food outside of certain times to avoid possible complaints/speed up preparation time/effort; loads of people would probably be fine just with some decent cheesy chips and sauce. That said, loads of pubs don't serve any food at all, I'm not a massive fan of drinking and eating at the same time anyway and they have the best outdoor seating setup around. You can sit out the front and people watch or they have a big closed off area round the back with lots of decent tables and barrels if you want to stand. What's great is they also have covered areas there, one section has a roof and plexiglass wall with IR heaters over it. That's absolutely perfect for days when it gets really windy, cold or if it keeps randomly pouring down. The side wall was definitely a good plan to block the wind and rain. I'd go back and recommend it. If you buy enough pints you'll have probably forgotten how much the food was by the time you get round to eating it anyway.

Decent drink selection especially the spirits, staff are as friendly as can be and food is decent and fairly portioned and priced, would give 5 stars but the atmosphere within the pub and behind the bar arent the same as they were post Covid, although I would recommend, decent boozer with good drinks and food
