The Greenfield

Lovely pub, friendly staff and the food is delicious with big portions and the prices are reasonable. We had a bit of an alleged incident with another customer occur last time we were there and the owner was extremely understanding and helpful, she went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. The reason for not giving 5 stars (i'd give 4.5 if i could) is as follows: When i asked for the coleslaw that had been forgotten the barmaid gave the impression that i was inconveniencing her. I am the kind of person who can misinterpret peoples actions, and haven't seen her mentioned in other reviews so perhaps it's just in my head. Overall the staff are lovely especially the gentleman with short hair. We ordered a starter of haloumi fries, they were absolutely delicious but for 6.25 you get 4 which i felt was a bit small for the price and personally wouldn't order a starter again. The portions on the mains were massive. Would highly recommend, although it's a shame they don't have a nice open fire, that would really make the experience perfect.
