Gill Skip Hire

Absolute shambles and so unprofessional. I booked the skip for Good Friday, told them I was clearing out my garage and garden so the skip would be filled that day, they delivered the skip early and told me ring as soon as it was full, I said I would need at least 3 skips maybe 4. Tried ringing but couldn't get hold of them, I rung the office, he said he'd try and contact them and get back to me, I told him I wanted the skip collected and needed another one. No-one got back to me, I rung again Saturday morning only to be told by the same man that they're shut over the Easter weekend, which he obviously forget to mention when i booked and the few times i spoke to him. They obviously don't need the business as they collected the skip after Easter with no mention of me booking another one. I've now booked a company that clear the stuff for you, I'd never book Gills again. I wish I'd checked the reviews before I booked, shocking company, and I had to pay cash as their machine wasn't working. Services: Junk removal, House & garage cleanouts

Ordered a skip to be delivered and on the day the driver phoned and said it will be there within the hour. 1 hour and 45 minutes later the skip turned up which I had waited in all day for! A couple of days later I came home from work to see the skip gone! The skip wasn't even completely full as there was things that still needed to go in. They weren't even contacted by us to remove the skip, someone had just turned up and taken it. When we phoned they said that one of the neighbours had contacted them to say that the skip was full when it wasn't. We asked the neighbours and no one had contacted them. Skips aren't cheap these days for things like this to happen! Service: Trash removal & disposal

Tried to go local for my skip hire - sadly the service was shocking - day one of attempted skip hire - waited until midday - contacted and fed line that vehicle issues being sorted - wouldn't be long, then had to call later and advise it is too late in day now - could they deliver first thing following day - yes not an issue - 1st drop tomorrow - 2nd day - waiting until 10 just in case they have a later start - ring up - clearly clueless on it - agree one would be coming out when truck back in (clearly not first drop) so have cancelled and will never use - 2 days off work wasted due to this shambles of a company - avoid
