Devonalds did the conveyancing for the sale of my house recently and exceeded my expectations with their professionalism. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and one of the best things (I found) was that I had an open line of communication with Tania Mitchell who was in charge of my sale. She was approachable and helpful and always responded quickly to any queries I had. She kept me informed every step of the way. The Devonalds app was an excellent way to communicate and easy to use.

We met in the Pontypridd office with a solicitor based in the Treorchy office. Prior to the appointment, I took some paperwork to the Talbot green office to be photocopied and sent to the Treorchy office. The secretary only copied one side of the sheets so when we arrived for our appointment, the solicitor did not have all the info required. It took them 2 months to complete a draft of the required task and they got some names wrong on it. When these were corrected, and everyone was happy, they advised us to print the document ourselves for signing!! Really??? The document had a big watermark saying draft across it so I sincerely doubt that this was the norm. They had not sent us a bill almost 5 months after our initial appointment and its only because we need some original paperwork returned that we have made contact to pay them. I am not impressed with Devonalds at all. When you consider the industry they are in, I would expect a better, more efficient service. I will not use them again for any service whatsoever as the service we received leaves a lot to be desired.
