Great agency to work for . Paid every Friday straight into my account with a pay slip emailed to me, worked to find me work in accordance to my preferences, easily approachable by text, email and calls, first agency I have come across where THEY contact ME to keep me up to date with things. Reading some of the complaints ....... They need to get a grip, get a brain and grow up . Well done Smart Solutions Cardiff

Not a very professional agency to work for. I have 3 bones to pick with this company. 1- As a temporary recycling loader I found my first and last day to be very frustrating. I had to wear my own PPE due to them not communicating with the Alps on where the PPE gear they promised me was left. I tried calling them up but of course they were all off due to christmas holidays. They never even thought to enroll me on the matrix system before they all went on holiday! They were happy to take me on as a worker but were more than relucatant to pay me the money they would eventually owe me! Which brings me on to my next point. 2- They are horrible when it comes to paying wages. Even though I only stayed the one day because I found a better job opportunity they still struggled to pay on time. I had to contact Ben every Friday 3 weeks in a row just to get one days pay (and induction). They kept telling me that I never sent proof of my NI number despite the fact that I did and have record of myself sending it to Rachid via email. Furthermore, the registration process when signing up to the job required that I put in proof of my NI number anyway! They must have obviously recieved it if they were happy to take me on for the job. They even claimed that they tried to contact me on numerous occasions but I never recieved one call, text or email. It was always me chasing them up. 3. And here is the cherry on the cake. They never even paid me the correct amount! I was owed for 10.5 hours of work (8.5 hours on the job and 2 for the induction). Even though I told Ben how many hours I worked he still decided to put down that I only worked 7.5 hours on my payslip! Which is disgusting and incompetent. I will not say full names as I am not that kind of person, but the ones mentioned above should be ashamed at how careless they are about their jobs. I never once had these kind of issues when I worked for Best Connection. I was going to contact them about this issue but honestly, I dont have enough faith in the team at the Cardiff branch to sort this SIMPLE issue out (which is why i have made this review in the first place). If I had been paid correctly then this review wouldnt exist.

Dreadful experience with this company. They offered me a job starting Monday, I worked that day only to be told I wasn't booked in to start. This was due to me sending an incorrect document, which is fair, though, I should have been contacted prior to the arranged shift. I sent off the correct document and did not hear from them. I had to keep pestering them. In the end, I was told my place was already filled that Monday. They had left me wondering what on earth was going on for a week. Do NOT recommend this company.
