My daughter said it was the best activity of the holiday - for a 10 year old that is a huge recommendation. Dan was excellent throughout the day, being able to keep the kids interested whilst also providing so much depth of knowledge and helpful hints about what to eat and what not to touch. The seashore foraging was a highlight when digging razor clams out of the sand and catching prawns in the net. Eating them was fantastic - the freshest sea food you could get. Would highly recommend a day out with Dan, you will not be disappointed and you will certainly learn about the food available all around us.

We would 100% recommend anyone to book a course with Dan at Black rock outdoor company. We attended his extreme low tide coastal foraging course which exceeded our expectations and more, it was the best day of our holiday. Make sure you bring a camera and a notepad to remember the wealth of Dan's knowledge, We took so much away from this experience and hope to do another course in the future with him.

We have done many different activities with Dan, including rockpool safari, bushcraft and wood work. Dan has an enormous wealth of knowledge in ALL areas and gives over his knowledge during the sessions in a very engaging way for all ages. My son absolutely loves spending time with Dan and learns a huge amount in a fun, hands on way. I highly recommend all the activities with Black Rock Outdoors.
