It's set back from the road but a great little craft beer taproom. Got some good recommendations and tasters - really good range of tasty craft beers. I didn't order the food but it looked excellent from the menu. Would definitely visit again.

What a great bar! We found out about this place from the brewery shop. They serve the brewery beer as well as some other local breweries in flights, two-thirds or pints. The drink selection for those who don't like beer was also a good mix of local spirits. The food is done by a different company and has a great selection of barbecue. Staff were super friendly and the whole place has a laid back vibe.

The food is top drawer. Lovely home made sauces and beautifully cooked local meats. The sauerkraut and crackling are ace. Excellent beers on tap and a nice atmosphere

In the light of an earlier outstanding experience four of us called into Tap & Tan for a meal last night. We ordered two "meals for two" one dominantly pork and the other dominantly beef both cooked on the bone. We had a craft beer whilst waiting half an hour or so at a very busy time for the meal to be prepared. A snack was provided to bridge the wait. The meals arrived with a variety of accompaniments and the portions were generous. The accompanying meat elements, including chicken wings and sausage, were tender and delicious. A variety of freshly prepared salads, dips and sauces complimented them well. The service matched the meal. We shared a fairly priced bottle of Rioja and left well satisfied. The meals were not the cheapest option on the menu but were very good value. Thank you Tap & Tan. We will be back.

Dog friendly Fantastic selection of beers and spirits that are local, bar man was incredible at explaining it all and letting us sample. Food was good although it's a small portion for the price. Would come back for sure!
