We , son and grandson , signed for the 4-hour deep-sea fishing trip ; our starting expectations were high !
All three of us were disappointed with this experience .
Why ?
Firstly , because two of the four-hour duration was spent close in-shore attempting to catch bait ! That was frustrating .
A complete waste of time as this bait supply should be provided as
part of the fishing deal from the outset .
Then , the remaining two hours was spent in and around Caldey
Island , so it did not appear to be deep-sea , as the water depth
was only 12m .
Our catch was minimal , as both son and grandson caught diddly-squat ; nothing but sea-weed !
Overall not a good first experience .
In summary , not again , they said .
