School Annex

Our group of five single walkers enjoyed a great weekend at the school Annex. The facilities were set up perfectly with everything there and done to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location is superb, with easy access to the hills and the lovely village. The kitchen and dining area is well equipped and we found that the lack of internal connection between it and the rest of the accommodation worked ideally for us. Being there for longer would have allowed us to use the pleasant patio, garden and barbecue area. Booking and communications worked very well throughout. We all thought that the School Annex was brilliant.

Our 2nd trip to the School Annex for a road cycling weekend. Clare & Michael are brilliant hosts and the location stunning. The house is ideally placed to ride out from and the village provides everything we need, with two pubs, shop, cafe and bike hire (if needed) within easy walking distance. Waking up to horses in the next field is a treat and as a group, we cant thank Clare and Michael enough for letting us share their beautiful property and ample local knowledge. Highly recommended! The location is great for exploring the Brecon Beacons, a lovely waterfall trail is only a short drive away. The annex was warm, cosy, homely & practical; I gather they've been doing this a long time as anything you might need has been thought of. We didn't plan our trip much at all beforehand, so it was very useful to have in the kitchen all the maps & leaflets of things to do in the area. Communication with the hosts was brilliant & we felt very welcome & at ease during our stay. Will be recommending to our friends & returning next year.
