Good location, however management and housekeeping needs rethinking. We came here for a few days over Easter weekend to camp and hike. Firstly, the earliest time you can check in is 5pm which is later than usual. Secondly, there was a real problem with running water across the whole campsite (there are several toilets and the showers generally arent a problem, although there are leaks which arent attended to). We had a real problem with washing hands in the sinks, the water simply did not want to come out of the taps. When we wanted to wash up our dishes after a meal, the hot water in the kitchen would only work for a minute or so, therefore we needed to put on the kettle to wash greasy pans. The same for brushing teeth in morning and evening - as the sinks werent functional in any of the toilets, we had to use the shower just to simply wash hands / wash face. These basic facilities are really all that campers need - hot, running water. Without this, the trip becomes a lot more difficult. If youre coming for a long trip to camp, Id look elsewhere.
