Tastefully refurbished to the highest standard, they have thought of everything. We loved our stay at the Old Byre, spacious and carefully decorated seamlessly blending traditional farmhouse with chic modern. The Byre is warm and comfortable but on the evening when we entertained the log burner provided cozy ambiance, and was incredibly easy to light with everything provided. Jim and Neil are friendly and helpful, always available for advice or information but never intrusive. They can be justly proud of the accommodations they have created, from the razor sharp knives to the stunning claw foot bath we wanted for nothing. Oh, and don't forget the location, right on the canal with living villages about 3km in each direction offering 5 pubs, it is also a superb base for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. Finally, and for us essential, the hosts show a real commitment to the environment and were equally welcoming to our dogs and electric car.

Loved it. A perfect little barn conversion oozing with warmth and character. Beautifully renovated. Our hosts were very welcoming and appropriately attentive whilst leaving us to our own devices. They informed us of the canal walk running behind the property which was a very pleasant sojourn. The guest slippers were a wonderful surprise !
