One of the most beautiful views in Gwynedd. I have coming here since the 1970s and always visit the church when I return home from abroad. I managed to find the church open one day (2015) and it was interesting to see how it actually looked inside. Best to come to the church by parking down the hill by the lake then walking up the narrow road to the top.

A serene little church in a fantastic location. If you use Windows 10 and have ever noticed its "Snowdonia" start-up image, you can reproduce it by walking up the rocky path beyond the church, then climbing the hill beyond the stone wall to the right. For an idea of position, look for the church on the right of the photo that shows my camera on a tripod.

A fantastic little church that was well worth the visit a short walk away from our Airbnb. There are amazing views from the church and it is so peaceful and tranquil to sit or stand for a moment in the silence. Sadly, due to Covid, the church was locked up and it seemed that it would be for the forseeable future which is a shame but it was nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful. It almost felt like this church had been preserved in time and we even spotted a grave from someone who was buried in 1706. Well worth a visit!
