        Unfortunately we had a below-par experience at the New Gurkha Inn restaurant. There were many items which were not available from the menu - they seemed to be out of all the breads, didn't have the veggie momos, and also switched up the main curry in the vegetarian thali without telling me about it until the food arrived. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

        The Lamb Gurkha curry was excellent. Good quality lamb, great flavours but not oily or overly spicy. Parking: Plenty of parking, level walk to front door

        12/04/2023.... UPDATE !! What has happened to the Ghurka Inn ? The food is usually amazing, but our takeaway tonight was bloody awful. Tiny portions,meat dishes were 90% sauce 10% meat,and it tasted like a supermarket ready meal. I hope this is a one off. If it's the same next time i eat there, i'll return the food for a refund, and eat elsewhere !!! 18/06/2019. 1st visit to the Gurkha Inn, it will be the 1st of many. Truly excellent food. The tastiest and best curry that i've had in a long time.All freshly cooked, tender meat, and good portions. Friendly and obliging staff. Can't recommend it highly enough. Not cheap, but not expensive. Worth every penny.
