We stayed at Talacre Beach on 03/04/2023. We booked and paid for a three bed Sedge caravan last year, reasons being we booked a three bed was the oldest child is autistic and has ADHD so needs her own bedroom space. This booking was made seven months in advance. On arrival we were given a two bed, when I queried why, the reason given was that our caravan was given to another family. After a lot of questions and answers we didn't get anywhere with the rude reception staff so had to accept what we were given or return home after a five hour journey. I have put a complaint in to be told i will be refunded with 50 to say sorry, not will you accept, just that's what your getting. Hoseasons have contacted me, even though it was not there fault, and we have come to an agreement. We have stayed at this site several times but will not be going back. The caravan was not up to standard either. This didn't just ruin our holiday but had a devastating effect on the younger child. So please be aware that Darwin escapes could change your booking without telling you this meaning they have NOT fulfilled there agreement with you.
