Just returned from a long weekend over Easter. Had a grass touring pitch (62) and joined by a friend and his family (63). Had a great time overall. Arrival is down a b road which heads to a series of different holiday resorts and does get busy at times meaning access does get a little tight but there are pull ins and most people are helpful to allow vans by. The overall area is designed for families with arcade, club house and bar nearby and there is access to a small pool on another site. Not really the sort of site we'd book had it not been for being with a friend and their child, but it was ideal for them. Easy access to sea too. March was very wet and this made the grass quite soft resulting in some people getting stuck but enough people on site to help tow others out and it appeared to improve over the weekend. Pitches are quite spacious but avoid pitch 60 and 61 as these should not really be allocated at the same time due to space and the bad levels there near the entrance to the field. It's generally a very well managed site although the bathrooms which were clean could do with an upgrade if they wish to justify the 35 a night. Nice views and setting though. Would have preferred the big spot light in the field would turn off say after midnight as that was quite bright. Also would suggest a designated waste area and separate drinking tap on the field.... Lady who was on reception the whole time was very friendly and helpful, a credit to the company.
