Pub On The Pond

Awful and not worth the money. Very small plates of food for the price and not that tasty. Toilets were disgusting and the whole place seems run down! What a shame! Wouldn't recommend

1 star is too much for this terrible restaurant. We were told an hour wait when we were ordered, we had put 2 hours on the car parking and with a dog and a 5 year old we were pushing our luck to keep them busy. An hour and half later and we were still waiting. It's lucky the restaurant wasn't busy as I dread to think how long we would have waited. In the end we give up and left hungry as we run out of time on the car. The staffs attitude was disgusting and not even as much as an apology just rubbish excuses. I went here as a child alot so thought I would take my daughter. Never again.

Great service, very dog friendly with own corner for drinks, treats and toys. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

I love the playarea since it's been updated, wonderful for all ages! Pub on the pond is a lovely place and dog friendly, which is a bonus!! But since I've been going for a good few years I've realised they've downsides the menu and also on some occasions weren't able to order food due to no chef so I'd always call and book ahead of going just incase that's the only down side and why it's not a full five stars. If you do go down, you will be happy to see the cutest little baby geese!
