Organised chaos! In the queue when they opened at 2 pm. There were six or seven people in the queue before me. Some were going to wait and some were going to come back later to collect their prescriptions. Thought I wouldn't have to wait long. 50 minutes later I decided to ask what was happening. Assistant went to check and came back with the prescription - or at least part of it. Was told that one item was not kept in stock and they would have to order it. Totally incorrect as I have had the item before from stock. Asked to have the prescription back and I would try somewhere else nearer to home. The prescription was promptly handed back but they also kept the item they had in stock 'as you can't have one item off a prescription for multiple items'. So I wasted almost an hour for nothing - I'm 78 years old and not that mobile but I didn't get any sort of apology for the long wait. Will be steering clear of this place in future even though my Doctor's surgery is across the road!

Put prescription in told to return in 40 mins. Returned 1 hour later to be told no tablets call again tomorrow. Returned Friday afternoon to find queues outside of the door, eventually got to the counter and had to wait 1hr 15 ins for it to be dispensed. It is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It would be an idea if they had 2 queues one for collecting and one for putting prescriptions in. Everyone ominous out of there were moaning about the place.

Attended the pharmacy today with severe toothache (wisdom tooth) and was assisted in the best way possible. Cerys (the pharmacist) was promptly able to recommend a gel that would ease the pain. This was the best possible advice and the pain has completely gone. I couldnt recommend Cerys and the entire team in Queens Road Pharmacy enough.

Utter Chaos. The staff are friendly enough but the organisation is absolute lunacy. You can be waiting for more than a hour for a prescription they have had for a few days. They can then announce no more prescriptions can be done at any time they feel the need.
