I had a hearing aid breakdown on a Saturday morning, I rang hearing care and received a same day appointment to get it looked at by Tim at the Carmarthen rd branch, who repaired it on the spot, for those of you who have hearing problems know that it can be debilitating and frustrating without the hearing aids, this service is greatly valued and I can't thank you all at boots enough for this.

I must say I found Stuart and the team here fab went to Boots Neath they were not very helpful when I picked up my glasses so went to Carmarthen Road and they sorted my glasses for me as they were not right even thought I told the assistant in Neath I didn't they were right.

AVOID. I would give them zero stars if there was an option. We had an appointment at 3.40pm, we were given the glasses and made us wait 50 minutes for the actual optician to see us, while the optician saw another family who arrived after us. Even the staff told the optician (blonde lady) that we were there first and she completely ignored us. When she eventually came, didn't even check that the glasses were ok for my son and now he is complaining of pain, and will have to go somewhere else to get that sorted as I am not going back there. Absolutely awful service by that optician. Make sure you take a chair or stool when you go as there are only 2 chairs, and the waiting time is shocking. What is the point of having an appointment?
