        I have known John for some 14+years. John's knowledge, professionalism and knowledge were in diagnosing my Glaucoma. As a fellow professional, I found John's knowledge and experience is on a par if not better than some consultants I have seen. John is one the last true lone private professionals who has not been absorbed into the large impersonal and often inexperienced conglomerates.

        I adore this opticians!! Really friendly, competitively priced and super quick. Chose 2 new frames at 1:00pm, my prescription lenses were fitted by 3:30pm the same day, ready for me to walk in and pick up. I've used big chain opticians in the past, but will never go back. The customer service Barnes offers is unbeatable, nothing is too much trouble.
