Jamie Hitchings Memorials

It's never a good time in your life when you lose a parent. Sadly, I lost my beloved Dad last year...October 2021. After the funeral, one has to be mindful of getting a headstone in my case or an urn for cremation purposes. Having visited a number of Memorial Mason's in Swansea area....I stumbled across Jamie Hitchings, based in Cave Street, Cwm Du, Swansea. I chose Jamie for many reasons, firstly he had a professional way of dealing with the berieved that many of the others didn't. That's important at such a vulnerable and emotional time in your life. Perhaps it's because Jamie's father is an undertaker who is used to dealing with berieved clients. Secondly, I was able to work, brainstorm ideas with Jamie.. and he could give you ideas and options to suit. I liked that because I had an idea in my mind of what Dad would have liked rather than the conventional run of the mill. Having seen Jamie at work his eye for detail in both design and installation....I would have no hesitation in recommending him to people in a similar situation. Please see photos of the headstone... a Churchyard design in polished black granite. Stands 42 inches from concrete anchor base. Traditional gold lettering. Thank you so much Jamie & your team for the wonderful work you did on Matthew's headstone. I was a pain I know but nothing was to much trouble for you with me changing my mind at least 3 times. It looks absolutely stunning we all love it. Thank you all.

Helpful and friendly from start to finish, any questions were answered immediately. My bampas stone was perfect. We recieved great service on the day of his memorial aswel. Highly recommended and very reasonable prices :)
